The Royal Academy of Engineering has, this month, published its report “Pathways to success in engineering degrees and careers”. Members will recall the author, Dr Tim Bullough, of the University of Liverpool making a preview presentation at Congress in Salford back in April.
The report demonstrates that a wide range of qualifications are taken prior to university and presents interesting information on gender, qualifications and destinations and split by pre-1992 and post-1992 universities. The report also provides an analysis on pathways taken by students through HE for each of the main disciplines within the engineering subject group.
