The EPC represents engineering departments and academics at all levels across the higher education sector, throughout the engineering industry and in national policy-making. We engage with:

• National and devolved government, particularly Department for Education (DfE) and the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy (BEIS);
• Engineering sector bodies, such as the Royal Academy of Engineering, the Engineering Council, the professional engineering institutions (PEIs), and many other stakeholders;
• Employers and employer organisations;
• Universities, colleges and educational institutions.

Among our important representative work is that the EPC regularly contributes to consultations on behalf of EPC members – on REF, on TEF, on Brexit or the Industrial Strategy, to name but a few recent ones.
